The Blagdon Liberty Solar 500 Pond Pump and LED Light is totally self-contained and suitable to run and illuminate a fountain or small water feature.  Two fountain patterns available and three ways to install; sitting on the pond floor, floating on the pond or use without the fountain attachments to supply a water feature.  Intelligent control options so you can choose one of three modes: Continuous On (runs for maximum number of hours, restarts when battery has sufficient charge), Timer giving 4 hours of use on demand, or 4 hours repeated daily.

Please note before you buy: Solar powered pumps are easy to install and convenient but the limitations are they are much less powerful than mains powered pumps, and they work best in the summer months, when there is the maximum hours of sunshine to charge the battery. In the spring and autumn, depending on weather conditions, the solar pump will still operate but will be less powerful and run for less than four hours. The performance in winter will be very limited, and the pump may be damaged in freezing conditions, therefore we recommend switching it off and storing the entire unit indoors during the colder months
